So far the method of rain water harvesting and soak pit percolation tanks were in the stone-age. Yes ! made with stones.. Now we have replaced the stone-age to STOREMORE –age by using STOREMORE modular tanks.

Greenwalas have made it a affordable solution to everyone by breaking the barrier of cost factor. Greenwalas have developed these porous modular tanks indigenously, and the cost of implementation has come down to 1/5th  the cost of imported materials available in the market. So it is now time for everyone to benefit.

Rainwater is a renewable, sustainable and a high quality water source for your home. Some of the benefits of collecting and storing rainwater include*:

• Diminishing flooding, erosion and the flow to stormwater drain by reducing peak storm water runoff
• Reducing water bills and demand on your community’s drinking water supply by using rainwater for flushing toilets, washing clothes, watering the garden and washing cars
• Improving plant growth by using rainwater for irrigation because stored rainwater is free from pollutants as well as salts, minerals, and other natural and man-made contaminants
• Making use of a valuable resource that is FREE

*As rainwater may be contaminated due to pollutants, it is often not considered suitable for drinking without treatment.

Submerged ground rainwater tanks may also be used for retention of storm-water (water from roof and paved areas) for release at a later time. Conventional rain water tanks are not designed simply to put underground and backfilled with soil. These will collapse and may pop out of the ground if empty. Special underground tanks are built, but are very expensive otherwise a special room may be built with a concrete floor and roof with brick walls, all of which possibly make underground tanks unviable, but if this is the only source of water this may be necessary.

Now STOREMORE  porous modular tanks replaces the expensive special tanks and is the most economical , fast and reliable method to capture and store the rain water at site.

Structure Size

The rainwater harvesting structures are so designed, so that they may hold maximum rainfall at peak intensity since the rate at which percolation takes place into the ground is slower than the intensity at which it rains. The stored / captured water is slowly percolated as per the soil condition.

With the application of non permeable membrane around the STOREMORE tank the the tank functions as retention tankto store water and can be reused at latter stage.
